Randy, I'm surprised you haven't borrowed the shocks off Eddies atom 3 demo car to find out. What is interesting is that the spring rate on Karls atom three is the same as the uprated springs that didn't work for you - obviously there is something going on with the valving on the atom 3 setup that just works!

I don't have a 3. The spring rates I posted were for the 'race kit' on the Brammo 2.

I have the Brammo race springs. I left the stock springs up front and installed the race springs at the rear only...I haven't experienced any bottoming out on braking up front, and I think keeping the softer front rates have helped keep the understeer down.

I also removed the helper springs, inverted the front shocks (can't invert the rears), swapped to DP bellcranks/pushrods, upgraded to 17x9 rears, then aligned/cornerweighed the car. The car handles WAY better now than before, approaching pre-modified track limits under street conditions now. Way more composed with higher limits on the street...though I have to admit I haven't track tested this new setup yet. It handles like a dream in the canyons now. It's so good I can help but laugh when I drive it.

Sorry Karl.. its right there in your sig too.. my bad.

So Mr. Woolery.. that puts you in the 30/60 camp.. or about 50% rate on the front, nearly the same as Karl with his 50/90 setup.

Starting to see a pattern here.
