Yeah, Darth. NM can be a bish like that. It did manage to get up to 51*F so it was far better later. For longer trips in the AM during the winter It'd be a good idea to get some heated MC gear I think.

The desert was cold but the pass in southern oregon was worse for me. I was thinking "so this is how I die" for a good hour until we got into California.

You missed the return trip bolus. Much colder, I had to tape my visor edges to keep the wind out, and put methanol in my water injection. And then toss on every piece of clothing I had with me.

You are the Bear Grylls of Atom drivers. I didnt see any racoons in the morning after that night in Nevada. Did you get up and eat them in the middle of the night?

No, but I did kill all of them and give them to that homeless family next to us so they had warm coats and food to eat.

If there's anyone in/around Denver I'm planning to attend the July 5th and 6th High Plains Raceway track events. I've never been there but it looks fun.
I know it's short notice but if there's anyone in the area it'd be nice to meet other Atom owners/enthusiasts.
