    Blackbird Fabworx checking in!

    Hi everyone!

I was referred to the forum by a customer who's car we currently are working on, had to register to view some post and figured I might as well say hello and tell the community a little about what we do.
Blackbird Fabworx is a small fabrication shop in southern California that specializes in race car prep on a number of different levels.
We don't do much on work on oily stuff, but we get our hands plenty dirty building roll cages, fabrication of aerodynamic devices and suspension components, full safety systems etc..

The Atom that we're currently working on is getting an aero makeover, starting with front and rear wings and a number of other improvements.
This will be a multi step project so it's not all going to be done at once, but it certainly will be a massive improvement from where the car came to us and quite the elaborate kit.
Our hope is to put it into production once we're happy with test results, if there's interest of course.
We're not just slapping some stuff together, it will all be track tested and tuned, offer a great range of adjustment and and, well, look great because that never hurts!

While dancing around the car we had a few other ideas like a full bolt in front anti-roll bar kit which sound like it could be very helpful from the input the driver had combined with our observations.

At any rate, I will try to keep you guys updated on our results and be happy to show the finished product once we have it all bolted down.
    Cheers!

Welcome. Glad to see more interest in the Atom world from custom fabricators. Good useable aero is definitely needed on the Atom. Anti roll bars..I don't see as much need. With proper springs and dampers, there is minimal roll to an Atom. However, everything can be improved upon. Please keep the forum posted on your work.
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)
