COOL STUFF, NORM!
What camera mount do you use?
I bought a huge assortment of Ram Mounts. If you want to go that way, I have it setup in a kit and you should look at it first to see what you like.
WOW, that's like a karting track, you never got a chance to really stretch your legs.
Yep, http://www.pacificgp.com
It is a Karting track and almost the perfect track to really really thrash the snot outta your atom. After all, straight lines are boring.
Here's video of Dan chasing me around it.

Jay, what is that "Hand full of marbles in a dryer" noise? It doesn't seen to change with speed.
And I agree that straight lines can be boring, but this track reminds me of a Malibu Grand Prix track with it's 1 short corner to the next. There doesn't seem to be a high speed corner, or anywhere that even requires a shift. Just not my cup of tea I guess.

I think you'll find this is more to your liking:

And yes.. he does pass me
EXACTLY my type of track out there at ORP. I hope to make it out there when I get back. The difference in the video is that Dennis had to put his car on the trailer and drive something else home. YOU on the other hand, could drive your car home from the track.
I was chewing on a DSR, or maybe even an F1000, but decided that an Atom would be easier to deal with because of the above stated reason. No tow vehicle/trailer required.
That was also early in the day, I had never run the track that direction (and I've only been out there twice anyway). By the end of the day, I was putting in 2 minute flat lap times, which is what he was doing at that point. A few weeks later, he was running 1:58s.. and I'm sure Darin could run a 1:47 or so.. he's consistently 12 seconds a lap faster no matter where we go, LOL.
I'm hoping with the 275x40s and the shock bearings will help out a lot. Driving it on the backroads, it is MUCH more planted then before.
