    Dash 2 question

Quick question about the oil pressure reading. My display shows "Oil P" on the right and the reading below it appears to be "1" when the engine is running regardless of RPM and "0" when the engine is off. I realize the Atom does not come standard with a pressure reading in PSI so I assume "1" is like a "green light" that there is pressure and "0" is no pressure. Is this normal? Is there some warning light if engine oil pressure drops when the engine is running?

I saw this question asking the same thing I have been wondering. Anyone know what happens if you lose oil pressure? My dash says "OIL P" all the time under the gear indicator (which has recently been malfunctioning, and I can't figure out).

The manual actually addresses this very scenario. It says if the OIL P says 0, turn off the engine.

I bought an AA3 used from someone who bought it from someone. So, there's a paper manual in existence? Maybe I can get one from TMI.

Heh, I was thinking of the AA3 manual, not the dash 2 manual. The former I got from franz as a pdf, hit him up, great guy. The latter I got directly from the race-tech website:

There is a specific program for these dashes that Race Technology uses just for the atom I believe, or at least for what I've been told. But you can set it up any way you want. The dash does nothing but monitor what's going on with the car, it doesn't control anything. But you would need to know more about your cars sensors , Programming mine right now. Email Al @ aseim@race-technology.com he is the Sales rep and Tech support.

Thanks guys. This is awesome information on the dash. I talked to TMI about a few parts I needed quotes for, and they said they'd send me the current manual when they're done putting the quotes together. If not, I'll reach out to Franz, as that's where I believe my Atom originally came from.
