Hi James, also your side of the pond waiting for delivery though based in sunny Coventry...

Whilst hunting for insurance which is a very reasonable 460 quid they did state I had to have a tracker, so maybe worth checking to see if that's a requirement for you too...

Thanks for letting me know. Think I'd get tracker anyway. I'm probably 6months away from shopping for one as I have a wedding to pay for and a loft conversion so I have some time. Did you order yours from Ariel (new)

I did as it seemed to make financial sense, the residuals are so strong.. never had a new car before either so thought this was a good place to start.. I would say Tom at the Ariel factory has been incredibly helpful, I was on a very tight budget and desperately wanted a few things ticked so although I didnt end up with a supercharger (something I can do later) I did end up with the right car for me

If you havent driven one yet get yourself booked in for a test with the factory - some nice places to stay in that part of the world too... though I would advise only do this if you are going to buy - the acceleration is brutal and you will want it immediately after the drive

Thanks for the feedback. I will defiantly get down there for a drive next year at some point. Or tap you up for a drive when yours arrives. 😉
