    Look what is being built in my back yard..

    Ok, I can see it from my back yard.

    2.3 mile paved road course with lots of elevation changes...and the new track owner/builder happens to be a top COM member (local car club, comscc.org) I think COM has already secured three,2 day events for next year... woo-hooo! No barriers,runoffs or curbing in yet..but it's coming...along with a large paved paddock/garage area.

    I got to drive this at speed yesterday,in my race prepped MSM on RT615 tires in 50 degree temps. We ran it CW and anti-CW...I preferred CW. Stunning. This track has much risk...and incredible reward for those who enjoy an asphalt challenge.More like a hillclimb with a dragstrip return road. Certainly not a country road style track. The elevation changes are something that has to be experienced to appreciate. Sorry,no footage...but the above video gives you the basics..the rest you need to feel to enjoy. This is a WOW track. Palmer Peak Raceway would be a better name. Counting the days till spring...

    Brrr…no thanks..I hate the cold. Cool pic..looks photoshopped..and besides no sane person would drive an Atom in the shnow…
