Look what is up on TMI's website today!

    Wow!

    Ariel Atom 3S

I have five Atoms in the build queue now, and one of these is still available for sale.

    I just got the email.

It's very exciting to see the production turbo, sequential gearbox optional and traction control, all things surely to bring the atom performance up a huge notch!

$25k for the turbo upgrade though....whew!

I love the side pods, too, especially since they each have heat exchangers in them and are therefore functional, but I imagine they help the aerodynamics, too, based on somewhat similar panels we had on our top fuel car.

Thank you again for your business, and especially your patience, waiting through the prototype building/testing phase. I am VERY anxious to get mine, too, but I have scheduled yours and then another buyer's delivery before mine, which is scheduled to be my new demonstrator/company car.

Of course, anticipation is also part of the fun, but waiting is hard. I frequently wake up during the night and visualize ~ 65 HP more than the already thrilling 300 HP 2012 Atom 3 demo/company car I now play (and work, if you want to call it that) with.

    Good Stuff!

Interesting that the Atom-3S will only be available with the full windshield. Honda turbo power and sequential paddle shift..nice!
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

I think my comment may have been misunderstood, I like side pods, just not those. Too square-ish and they look like total add ons

I believe these are the same side pods used on the new 3.5R across the pond.

The only problem I see with it is that the Atom is no longer the performance bargain it once was. The 2015 Z06 is nearly as quick for $10k less. When I bought my Atom in 2006, you had to pay a lot more to get similar performance.
