Hmm..was hoping TMI was using full hot side V-band turbo setups. Stud mounted is a thing of the past.

Bolus...THAT is some incredible Ecotec porn... WOW..!! Hot damn..

Yep, the cycles are zippier, until you want to turn or decelerate at more than a G. I have a lot of fun in the twisty canyon roads here with the cyclists. I scoot ahead. Stop. Wait for them to catch up, then goose it farther on up the way...

I applaud TMI for their ability to capture that market segment, but I agree with RyanD, $90k for an Atom is way out of the price range of most mere mortals. Good thing I got mine for ~$45k. For another $45k I think I could get the old Atom 2 past the 3S spec... even though it's 'old.'

Stop riding with those Harley riders. A modern fully street legal sport bike will destroy an Atom, especially on track, driven by someone with the proper skills.

Many buyers of performance vehicles don't want to tinker with their rides and want it all right out of the box. That is where the $90k Atom comes in to play. Sure, you may be able to come close to the performance numbers of a $90k Atom with something you build..but in the end,you will own a custom bastardized Atom. Not a bad thing unless you need/want to sell..

Bastardized Atom... That's funny. I own a Brammo Atom. It came bastardized right from the factory. :P

If it came from the factory with defects,it is defective. If you modify something to make it "better" it is a bastard. Like I said, not a bad thing…but it can be hard to convince a buyer your creation won't be a problem child. I speak from many years of bastardizing...
