Ontario Atom Owners - Track Days

Our On Track Season ended on a Damp but drying track. Challenging with the BFB R DOT treadless tires. We had lots of Track Time but the cooler weather and damp Track kept us from achieving any improved laps.

Back to the shop and the drawing board to prepare for 2018.

We have the Atoms back in the shop to store as well as prepare for 2018. The 71 Car is in our showroom in Chatham Ontario Canada.

I ordered a dual element Skunkwurx rear wing as well as wide Skunkwurx Fenders to cover the 949Racing 15x8 Front and 15x10 rear wheels and Hoosier A7 Tires. A selection of Hypercoil Springs will be ordered soon. It is going to be a long winter.

The SRA was a great fit in the 20 foot NEO Trailer. The 2017 Honda Ridgeline tow truck was awesome.

I have been reading Ross Bently’s Book about Shocks that I down loaded from his Speed Secrets website. Interesting. I’m going to remove the QA1 Shocks from the 49 SRA and get them checked on a Shock Dyno. The education and SRA studies continue.

We we are working to see if we can get another Track Night Driver in an Atom by spring.

How about an "Aim Solo Lap Consistency Challenge" ?

Those with Aim Solos could share their 3 Best Lap Displays per session from their Aim Solo after each session and we could compare Data to see who has "Bragging Rights" for the 3 Most Consistent Laps.

Everyone with an Aim Solo would be Competitive.

We are hoping that there is a possibility of a third SRA at the Bendi 2018

Last year I was not comfortable in the SRA so this new seat will be added for the 2018.
