    at least one of the older ones has gotta be road legal. I see all types of kit cars which look nothing like modern day cars and some which are open wheeled be legalized here which means there has gotta be something they look like in the past.

    Here ya go...

    It's a replica of the 1908 Ariel Grand Prix Racer. You can see it looks almost exactly the same. And yes, it was street legal back in the day.
