    Corbeau Seats Installed Atom 3

I just installed the Corbeau seats and they are great. They are way more comfortable than the stock seat and hold you in much better. They have a full range of adjustment fore and aft and only raise you a slight amount.

To answer some PMs about the installation, I would say it was not that difficult but would be easier if you had two people, one to hold the seat in place and one to locate the mounting points. If you have a parking brake I would say to remove it as I did as it gives better access to the side plate where the mounting holes are. I did it by myself and found that you are better off mounting the lap belts first and then the seat to the sides. You MUST use the harnesses supplied with the kit as the original eye bolts must come out to give movement to the seat. You also have to buy 4 extra seat mounting bolts as the kit uses 4 per side and you only had 4 total with the original seat. In that vein I would actually buy 8 new hex head bolts as this makes it MUCH easier to tighten the bolts as the cap head bolts are hard to get an allen wrench in the tight area between the seats. My kit didn't have a way to mount a sub belt but in speaking with Corbeau themselves they said they will be including a mounting boss on future kits so I would make sure they are on the kit you buy. The only other caveat would be if you are large in stature with over a 36" waist, these seats are not for you as they keep you nice and tight for perfect track use. I'm 5'8 with a 32" waist and they are perfect.
