Hey,

Been watching the forums for some time but now the real research begins! Need to get a bit more information (will try to contact Eddie and take a visit to Wichita Falls) then save a few more pennies but hoping to make a purchase this year at some point.

Planning to get rid of a Harley (I just like 4 wheels underneath me) and use this for fun open air runs, as well as retire an '88 911 to cruise status and use the Atom for autocrossing.

Welcome, txacre70. Lots of good info here. I take my 2012 Ariel Atom 3 demonstrator/company car to Eagles Canyon at Decatur frequently, and that is a good place to see how it looks in the real world, compared to the other cars that attend. My last trip there, a McLaren pointed me by.

We are doing a demo this coming Saturday and Sunday at Hallett Motor Raceway, near Tulsa. If and when you are ready to come to Wichita Falls, call or email me and we'll set up a demo time that will work. Well, I've been talking with Eddie some and trying to arrange a demo ride.

I would appreciate any information from anyone who has experience registering an Atom in Texas, particularly from one of the emission testing counties (I'm in Denton county), as far as what the process is like and any do's/don'ts? Also, I'm hoping to get any advice on financing and/or insurance? I realize most of this information is kept private so please contact me through this site and I'll give you my email address or cell number.
