    Atom curious....

Hi everyone. I joined on here to keep an eye out for an Atom and meet some of you cool folk on here. I come from the motorcycle world. I've currently got an Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Aprilia Mana 850, Yamaha R1, Vespa GT60 in the garage. I've been in some stupendously fast cars and did SCCA in the late 90's.

I have kids now and would like to introduce them to fun toys and am not comfortable with my kids on the back of a 180whp 400lb bike with a passenger seat the size of an iphone... even if it was tire warmers, wheelie control, launch control and traction control..

On here to see if some Atom guy/gal likes bikes, especially the weird and wonderful kind...

Welcome! Haven't ridden two wheels in a long time, 'fraid I'm not your man there. I'm positive however we have a few bikers.

    Starting the countdown to ownership

The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

I had a BKing and loved the way it rode and everything but couldn't get over the awful look of the thing from the front! I don't know who designed that thing but it is sure butt ugly. I traded it for a new Yamaha FZ1 I like that one a lot but not as fast as the BKing.

^ Yea,the B-King is a redheaded stepchild,at least stock. However, Mine has been altered...and the first thing to go were the Buck Rogers mufflers. I put a nice (quiet) Two Brothers CF undertail exhaust setup on and LOTS of CF panels, with a VStream Blackout shield, and a custom Corbin CF solo seat. The bike is all black and debadged. It's different for sure. And fast... I can't seem to find a picture of it on my computer and the bike is tucked away for the winter,so no picture.
