I think the stock TMI mirrors are from the same manufacturer. There's some on their website that look identical to what came on my Ariel.
Mounts:
KC HiLiTES 7308 Bracket for 2.25" to 2.50".
$21 each at Amazon, order 2.
Miscellaneous hardware.
I couldn't see an easy way to use the same holes (on the windshield) to mount these mirrors. The holes through the frame and windshield are too small. One would have to enlarge the holes and machine a larger shoulder washer (which prevents the windshield base from being compressed). That being done, the threads on the new mirrors are not long enough. I found that if I took the cone nut off of the mirror stalk base and removed the stock shoulder washer that it will fit, but if one were to actually tighten a nut underneath the frame hole, the mirror stalk would be crushing down on the fiberglass windshield base.
The KC mounts allow for two different mirror heights, two different lateral positions, and free placement fore and aft on the frame.
It works. Not as clean as the stock mirrors, but a lot more functional. Plus, no modifications were necessary and one can revert back to the original set up.
