    Mirrors:
Fist Black LED Turn Signal Mirrors KiWAV.
$139 at Amazon (or available from KiWAV, same price).
    Also available without LED lights.
I think the stock TMI mirrors are from the same manufacturer. There's some on their website that look identical to what came on my Ariel.

    Mounts:
KC HiLiTES 7308 Bracket for 2.25" to 2.50".
$21 each at Amazon, order 2.

    Miscellaneous hardware.

I couldn't see an easy way to use the same holes (on the windshield) to mount these mirrors. The holes through the frame and windshield are too small. One would have to enlarge the holes and machine a larger shoulder washer (which prevents the windshield base from being compressed). That being done, the threads on the new mirrors are not long enough. I found that if I took the cone nut off of the mirror stalk base and removed the stock shoulder washer that it will fit, but if one were to actually tighten a nut underneath the frame hole, the mirror stalk would be crushing down on the fiberglass windshield base.

The KC mounts allow for two different mirror heights, two different lateral positions, and free placement fore and aft on the frame.

It works. Not as clean as the stock mirrors, but a lot more functional. Plus, no modifications were necessary and one can revert back to the original set up.

As usual, it appears that I did things the hard way. If I had ordered the same mirrors (or any mirror) for a Harley Davidson, then I could have used the original holes on the Atom and not have needed the 2.25" tube clamps. I think I'll order a different style mirror, with the Harley Davidson mount, and see how that goes.

Better, but still not perfect. On the passenger side, the frame of the windshield blocks about half of the mirror. There is no position that allows for a full view. Also, the LED turn indicators are too dim to be seen in daylight. The previous set were brighter and the position was better, but my knee kept whacking the KC mount (when climbing in and out). On the plus side, it looks great. So the message here is make sure to order something that has the Harley Davidson style mounting, a stalk that has more lateral reach, and possibly forget the LED indicators.
