    Scratch Built LNF Atom

Long time lurker...I thought I would post up my project that I am working on. I am building a Atom from scratch, design and fabricated all myself with the LNF engine.

1st test drive is scheduled for Spring 2014.

Check out my site I put together: ModernKitCar.com

NOT an Atom..just another wannabe copy. You must be SO proud.
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

Calm down Mark. Can't fault the guy for some enthusiasm. Afterall blah blah imitation, blah blah flattery etc.

Good on you Maccos for using your own two hands. If you sort the suspension then regardless what the hood ornament is, the car will be a performer with a ton of excess production baggage left off. Have fun and keep us updated.

Calm down? Not sure exactly what you imply by that, but in my opinion anyone ripping off an exact copy of a fully developed and currently marketed design is a sleazy scum bag. Not to mention offering a "how to" book about doing it!

If you are truly talented and have any imagination and creativity, you develop you own unique products,NOT rip off existing designs and call them your own!

And then claims on his website: "All rights reserved".

Add hypocrite to the sleazy scumbags list of attributes..

That is how I see things, plain and simple.

Mark, don't you ever get tired of driving off folks? This isn't your website, maybe you should act like the guest you are, and treat others with the same respect you would in other folks homes. If you don't like a conversation that's occurring, move into a different part of the house and ignore it. If somebody is damaging the house, tell the owner.

Right now, you're the guest that's had too much to drink, and is yelling and arguing with the plaster dog sitting next to the fireplace.

Marco - great job, very impressive! Ignore MadMaxAtom, he's that uncle that gets invited to the Christmas party and ends up face down in the bathroom every year.

    Perfectly said and agreed.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

To clarify, I thought some of you may be interested in the LNF engine platform, so I wanted to share with you what I have learned so far. (my way of giving back to the community)

    Happy Holidays!

I'm a lurker, a person very interested in the Atom. I am really turned off by the vile nature of some of the responses to a perfectly honest post. I don't want any apologies or excuses for the tripe I just read from MAD.. he truly is mad, there's no doubt. Good Bye. I'm going to a friendlier site. Oh, I know, you won't miss me Madmax. That's ok. I don't want you to miss me or remember me.

No apologies offered. If you are offended..great. If not, that's fine too. At least you know where I stand with no sugar coating.

I tend to be a bit..overprotective of the Ariel Atom when I see counterfeit examples show up…but that's just my core values…(stealing is wrong, regardless of intent) and are often misunderstood in todays society of anything goes, live and let live…can't see it from my house mentality.

I see any direct copy of the Ariel Atom that is not fully endorsed or recognized by the Ariel Atom company as contraband.

Now,I have to get back to my conversation with that damn dog...

I'm sure if the OP took pictures of Ariels and published a coffee table book you'd pitch a fit about it being theft of Ariel's IP. Your overprotective nature would be better suited on the other forum as they're just as paranoid and hypercritical of anything that's remotely similar.

There's nothing new under the sun, Max. We are ALL standing on the shoulders of giants and everyone has 'stolen' ideas from previous generations, deliberately or otherwise. Why haven't you thrown a temper tantrum over Darth's non-Atom build here? It's obviously a poorly executed, deliberate knockoff...

Cheer up, it's the holidays. If you are incapable of being polite then at least learn to keep quiet and ignore that which offends you.
