    potential new headlights from v-leds

I was on the sight looking for bulbs for my lexus and I came across this

    http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID-Head ... 77715.html

2.5 inch housing dual HI / LO HID kit...there's not enough on the sight about it to know if it could be a suitable replacement for our headlights...and on my car I'm fine with that I have, but I know several owners wanted options.

so if any of you want to call vleds or what not to investigate, report back here and teach us what we need to know.

Called them. They will work, however they are not guaranteed weatherproof, as they are intended to be in a housing.

After my chassis arrives I may order a set and see if they would work, and rig them up so that they are easy to remove in the very unlikely event that I drive in a rain event, or when I wash the car.

They have a 30 day return policy, so if eyeballing them they won't work, I can send em back.

The pics look like they are housings, are the chrome housings included? If so why would any company make headlights that aren't weatherproof

There are 3 times of Atom drivers. The ones that will not go out in the rain at all., ones that try if a few times and say "ok, did that, never going to do that again" and then the guys that drive in tornado's for fun.

Im in the second boat and thats why I dont care if there are 20 things on my car that are not waterproof now.

Darth's Atom is like a A-10 thunderbolt. You can throw boulders into the engines and it keeps on flying.

My car is like an F-16. It needs a ground crew of 100 engineers just to keep it running and a light dust off the tarmac will shut down the engines. But when it has perfect operating environment it will fly like hell.

It was only a class three tornado, not sure what all the fuss is about, lol.

Put some miles on the new clutch today, then washed all the blood and brake fluid off. Damn my a10 is sexy!

Tornado driver here. Have 5 degree wind chill, live snow, sleet, and heavy rain experience. +
