Autocross and some track days.
I can register anything in Wyoming, dirt bikes, ATV's, snowmobiles and lawn mowers, no problem.
I need to find out what classes they run in, like A Mod, B Mod or hopefully lower classes.
I need to know what the red line (maximum RPM) is and the top speed in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Stuff like that, I will probably go to other sections of this forum for that kind of info.
On the MU3/F35 transmission in the GM ecotec based Atom's the speeds are
1st - 38 mph
2nd - 73
3rd - 109
4th - 144
5th - 180
at 7000 RPM
Revs to 7200. With valve springs and taking out the balance shafts, you can get it to 9000 or so.
Some guys have a quaife 6 speed conversion for their F35's though.
Dont know on the Honda's
the high profile toy thrower
What kinds of track days do you normally run and what direction are you wanting to go? Club events, NASA etc?
Fun or real competition?
Which tracks do you normally run at?

My track days would be at Miller Motorsports Park near SLC, Ut. I am mostly a Autocrosser competing in Super Street Prepared class in the SCCA with a modified 04 ZO6 Corvette.
Then you'll really like a lighter car. Light's where it's at.
Most road courses I ran 3-4th, plenty of torque to grunt out of a turn and carry a straight. Very seldom did I use 5th, Miller and Fontana front straight. I'd suspect with the ecotec you'd run mostly 2nd on a autox.
Me and that "Subaru" car ran there. Classic big blower vs big turbo challenge that weekend.
Forever long straight to stretch it's legs..
