I'm new to Ariel Atom Chat but a huge automotive enthusiast. I just took delivery on a 2014 Porsche Boxster last month, after waiting 6 months for it after I ordered it. Absolutely love the car. But also planning to buy an Ariel Atom early to mid next year. I've wanted an Atom ever since I drove the 2 at Willow Springs Raceway back in 2007.

Are there any Atom owners in the Bay Area? I'm based near San Jose and would love to drive up Mt Hamilton Road up the mountain to the Lick Observatory, down the other side to get some chow at The Junction, and then back with an Atom. It's a good 2 hour drive nonstop (1 hour each way), so it's usually a 4 hour drive after a couple stops for photos and a stop at The Junction to eat before turning back. I've made the run 3 or 4 times and it's the best driving route in the area on a weekday when there's zero traffic.

Anyone interested in going for a brisk exhilarating drive? Don't worry... I won't slow you down. If anything, I'll have to slow down for you.
