Ariel Atom car insurance company recommendations

Any recommendation for insurance car company's and what car classification for a Ariel Atom 3? Looking for advice before I call some insurance companies. Do I call it a Ariel Atom or as assembled car when calling insurance?


I live in Michigan and will be mostly car trailering to track days with occasional public roads once I get registration and plate.

Its unlikely you'll have any luck with the big companies. Start with a company that is familiar with the car like American Modern or Classic.

Its a agreed value policy with limited miles and some other restrictions.

I have mine insured thru Rally by recommendation of the previous owner. It was a very smooth experience to get insured. Couldn't be happier with the transaction so far. We'll see how happy I am when/if I have to claim anything. heh.

appreciation is built in.. plus they pay you for anything you add on to the car during your ownership, keep receipts.

Had I totalled my car it would have paid out nearly $100k.....I'm glad I didn't, but they have paid out at least 2 atoms in full that I know of.
