That's Allen's car. I cant remember if he posts here or not. He has the same paddle shifter mod that I have so I worked with him getting his installed. He had a professionally done engine build that was top quality. So I think that's a good deal there. With highly modified cars you are getting something very unique. So if something has a problem probably only he will know the details on installation. When I was thinking about selling mine I wrote up my own user manual for all the crazy stuff I did.

It also looks like it is tuned for race gas + methanol. So if it is something you would drive on the street you would need to consider the cost of tuning it back to pump gas. Unless you want to spend $11 gallon. Though he might have a tune for pump gas if you ask.

It also does not look like you could run the rear "tea tray" (body panel over the engine) because of his custom exhaust.

He seemed like a very decent guy when I was communicating with him on the shifter. If you are interested give him a call and ask about the tune and if there are any other issues to think about.

Yea, I think that's just gonna be a bit too wild for me (can't believe I'm saying that). A lot of the stuffs that come with the car I'm not going to use them and yes the car will need to be tone down a bit. My days of owning mega HP auto are behind me, I'm looking forward to enjoying the reliability and consistency of a stock setup with less maintenance and headache.

I have a turbo that can do 400+ hp and I run it with the boost controller off so ~320 hp. Just my acceptance that I could not handle it at 400. Its perfectly fine to detune such a car and then after a few months when it starts to seem slow you turn up the tune. Plus, the accelerator pedal still is under your control As long as I dont push it all the way down its a perfectly calm car

"...its a perfectly calm car..." now that is funny... Not once behind the wheel of even a bone stock Atom have I felt calm... even with the engine off...
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)
