What is the best way to remove a starter from a Honda K series powered Atom 2/3?

I need to remove the starter from an Atom 3 with a K20Z3. What is the best way to do this? Is seems nigh on impossible to get to the bolts. It might be easier to remove the intake manifold or pull the engine than trying to take that starter off as it is. And, if the intake manifold has any Studs holding it on, I don't think there is enough clearance for the thing to come off. If its all bolts, it might work.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I know on a Honda with that motor you have to pull the intake manifold.

That is what a friend told me.

Well that will be a first for me. Should I be afraid? (laughing)

Thanks Amigo. Fortunately it was a cut wire and not the starter.
