I have a brand new Ariel Atom 3 that is scheduled to be finished around August 1, and the plan is to leave it at the factory in case the buyer wants to add options, or change some options. It can then be shipped directly to your door from the factory.

It is serial #AA30182, and is currently equipped with the following:

300HP Supercharged Honda 2.4 liter engine
Six-Speed Close-ratio Transaxle with Limited Slip Differential
Black powdercoated chassis
Black Fiberglass body panels
Black Fiberglass Fenders
Black wheels
Aluminum radiator option
Wilwood Dynalite Sport Brake Package
Tuned non-adjustable dampers
One-piece fiberglass bucket seating for two
2 inch four point harness
Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 12 Spoke 15" wheel package in Black (but other colors available)
Yokohama S.drive tires - front 195/50/15, and rear 225/55/15
Road Race Lighting Kit

Price as currently equipped $66,539.00 finished and tested, at the factory in Virginia.

The enclosed pictures are of a car I have already sold, #AA30170, but this #AA30182 that I have for sale now, is very similar.

Yes, available factory option now, and has been for some time now.

This one is not the first supercharged 2.4. I have already sold two others earlier this year.

Both of them are street registered and driven, one in Iowa, and one in Texas.

My Texas customer has already used his at Hallett Motor Raceway near Tulsa, at Eagles Canyon Raceway at Decatur, Texas, and at Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Lots of grins at all three tracks!

My Texas customer graciously allowed me to drive his for a session at Hallett, with him as passenger, so I could show him the line I like. Fun for both of us.

My driving impression from driving both the 300 HP 2.0 that my 2012 demonstrator has, and then the 300 HP 2.4, at the same track, same day, one right after the other, is that the 300 HP supercharged 2.4 has a LOT more torque than the 300 HP supecharged 2.0, and is a lot more forgiving on the racetrack if you wind up being in a higher gear than you should be in, for a corner.

The 2.4 is smoother, with the balance shafts in the engine, that the 2.0 does not have, and the extra torque of the 2.4 seemed to cut down on the number of gear shifts on the track.

I think for a beginner-to-intermediate driver at a road race track, the 2.4 will be more user-friendly, more forgiving of minor driving imprecisions, and probably better lap times, than the previously used 2.0, even though both have the same 300 HP.

And I think most drivers would definitely prefer the 2.4 on the street.

If you enjoy high performance vehicles, and can afford one of these cars, you really need to get one. Seriously! Life is too short, and these Atoms are too much fun, to do without one, if you can somehow make it happen.

Bump for a fun car! I'm the Iowa owner and I LOVVVVVE mine! Worth every penny.

Be prepared to be the car that gets the attention though... I've been among Lambos and Ferraris and everyone wants to look at the Atom.

Congrats on one of the first supercharged k24's! I wish mine was supercharged. What company did TMI use for the supercharger kit?

Hi, Bolus, and thanks. This color scheme is so right-looking to me that I have another one (#184) just like it, being powdercoated as we speak.

So besides this #182 in this ad, that is just being finished, I have also bought #184 that is scheduled to be optioned the same way. And I have three Atoms here now, my '06 #72, my '12 demo/company car #12, and my used '05 Honda powered #145. I must like them, to own five at once!

And as for trading, I doubt if you are any more willing to give up your '06, than I am willing to give up my '06
