A combination of my father visiting for the holiday (thus needing a "project" to keep him entertained) and the fact that my gas tank full of broken rubber gasket chunks did not seem to magically cure itself over the winter meant that I finally bit the bullet and drilled out a bazillion rivets to pull the fuel pump and get started cleaning up the mess...
Anyway, I scanned what was left of the gasket and just drew a template to make replacements. Figured I'd share.

A little $8 rotary leather punch from the local craft store makes an excellent screw hole maker, BTW. Everything lined up spot-on from the pattern.
We bought the thickest gasoline-proof gasket material the local O'reilley's autoparts had. It's probably only about 0.060" thick, but with the fairly smooth and coplanar parts involved I think it'll be fine. We shall see.
