Want to see Ariel Atoms in action?

I and at least one of my customers are planning to run our Ariel Atoms at Eagles Canyon Raceway, 13 miles northeast of Decatur, Texas, on hwy. 51, Saturday April 6.

The last I heard, there was no admission charge, unless you will be running your car on track.

I plan to run my Atom in the track sessions, but when I am not on track, or during the lunch break, I will be happy to show this amazing car and answer questions, and I will have my price and options list with me, and can even take your order, if you'd like.

Here are the data recorder results of our Atom demonstration at Eagles Canyon.



This is within about one second of my all-time best lap time here, and so I am fairly well pleased with the first time out this year. As far as I could tell, my Atom was the fastest thing there with more than one seat, and with a license plate, and I dearly love that part.

I'm going to blame traffic for part of the inconsistency shown here-

But perhaps the coolest thing, is that the only thing I did to the car during the event , was to add five gallons of pump 93 octane gas, check the air pressure- no correction needed-, and check lug nut torque- all OK, nothing moved.

No, correct that. The really coolest thing is that after loading the car in the trailer to leave the event, it stays in there until I unload it at the next event. No repairs, maintenance, or adjustment needed.

Fast, fun, and no work! What could be better?

And here is "the rest of the story"



This shows how well the wheel/tire combo works. I sell my customers the exact same setup that I use myself on both my 2012 Atom 3 demonstrator, and my 2006 Atom II.

I have tried many different combinations of wheels and tires, and I am very pleased with what I finally settled on.

I also offer wheels to customer's own specs, where they want to do their own experimenting.

It is worth pointing out that the only different parts from stock factory equipment on this car, my 2012 Ariel Atom 3 demonstrator/company car, that generated these results, are the track wheel/tire combo that I sell (requires fender removal or rework) and my un-muffled pipe in place of the muffler. The unmuffled pipe is a hearing aid, of sorts, to help my top-fuel-damaged hearing know when to shift.

Ariel Atom demonstration day again tomorrow, April 21, at Eagles Canyon Raceway 13 miles northeast of Decatur Texas, on highway 51.

It is hard to believe how much quicker/faster than a normal car, these Atoms are, until you see it firsthand.

Wife Ercie and I will be there in our red,white, and blue motorhome/mobile sales office, with the enclosed Atom trailer, and we love to show and tell about the Atoms.
