I still can't believe you're 77...and trophy wins in all 8 decades..that has to be a record!

"Eddie won his first trophy in 1949 on a Cushman motor scooter" Ok..it couldn't have been drag racing...then again,you probably stuffed an Indian motor in it,running alcohol...

Max, that first trophy was only about 6'' tall, and it had a round base maybe 3" in diameter, and the engraved metal band around the base, about 2" tall, just BARELY had room for "Tri State Motorscooter Flat Track Champion", and the date,-- pretty grandiose title for such a tiny trophy.

But it sure helped "set the hook" as far as my rather lengthy love affair with fast machinery--
