    Cool Vortex Wants to Come After the Atom

    On Vortex's home page:
    Although all we wanted to do was to break the world record with our F1 model and start launching our F2 model, it seems inevitable that we will be compared head-to-head against Ariel Atom on Top Gear US soon. We will have a VERY CAPABLE track car when we bring the F1 to California early next year for the Guinness Book World Record for 0-60 times.

    Let's see if our "Made in USA" Vortex F1 (with all Tier 1 suppliers supplying "Made in USA" parts) can take on the almighty Ariel Atom! All of your suggestions and encouragements would be greatly appreciated.

    I have a feeling they'll have a hard time getting enough heat into those tires, if they're street compound. Slicks though, ooooh yes.

    I saw this car at SEMA. They have alot of work ahead of them, but they sure have heart and passion. Not sure about their Atom challenge though....
