Circuit of the Americas 2/4/13 blue run group

I had the Atom at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX this past weekend. I spent most of my sessions driving the Radicals but I used the Atom to learn the track. Had a blast. Great track. Car performed well.

That looks like a HUGE track from that perspective! Looks like the usual hardware showed up too.

Did the organizer put on a good show? How many run groups? Did you get enough track time?

Way cool - did you have flat/euro wings on the Atom? If so, my buddy Annand with a grey GT3RS 997.2 said he chatted with you a bit.

MVP did a great job. It was all Advanced run groups. 30 minute sessions 4x/day for 3 days. It was plenty of time. First 2 sessions were getting to learn the lay of the track and then progressed from there. Track really is nice and challenging. The first few laps were intimidating with blind corners over hills, but was able to get quite comfortable after the first few sessions.

Yes. I do have the flat wings on mine. Had the pleasure of meeting a number of people--all quite friendly. I'd guess 30+% of cars there were GT3 porsches

How did they determine run groups and was there any mobility between them?

How did the R888s hold up? Looks like they were biased towards oversteer.
