The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

$90k worth of special lightweight bolts..yet it weighs over 3200lbs??? I could see the benefit of saving a few lbs if the car was actually "light"...but it's kind of silly on something that heavy.
Ever since I drove my first Atom,I consider any car over 3k.lbs as porky, regardless of it's lap times.

The detail on the Huayra is realy super but at £800,000 thats a lot of Atoms. When the new Stig came to top gear the first car he got to drive was the Atom V8 500, now he had done lots of cars and knows the track i do wonder how he would do now in the Atom V8

I think this is very true of the previous Stig too (Ben Collins) who was the Stig for what, 14 seasons? You can see he gets way better times out of the later cars as his experience progresses and he figures out where he can cut corners more etc. It would be interesting to see what times some of the older cars get if he were to re-test them years later. I think its fair to say the first Stig (Black Stig) was not as fast as the next two also.

BY the way, have you seen on some of the youtube comments how some people really think Michael Schumacher is/was the Stig after they did the FXX bit with him? Hilarious.

And I'd like to see it on a dry track, instead of a damp track with some puddles of standing water.
