    Blind spot be gone!

After seeing the Autobahn mirror mod by rijowysock in this thread I ordered one from their site and fitted it today.

I went for a slightly different placement, partly because I was concerned about passengers legs blocking the view, mostly because I have the side pannels so access to the frame is limited.

I took a photo of my point of view using my phone. Using the paint marks and cables on the back wall of my garage as reference I've marked out on the new mirror what the old mirror can see, hopefully this clearly shows the increased FOV you get.

Thanks for posting rijowysock, I also picked up a bike frame bag to use as a glove box, I mounted mine in the middle though so I could better reach it without having to take off my seat belt.

im glad my thread was able to help someone, not sure how i could drive the atom without the blind spot mirror... it is crucial to me right right hand lane changes... also passengers legs only get in the way when they sit odd... but it could be slid up that bar for better viewing.. i kinda like it "down there" as it's not distracting when not needed.

the bike bag is also ideal.. ive debated getting a nicer one with more pockets but havent yet.... and yes it would be easy to mount in the middle as well... most the stuff i need in it i would be at a standstill for... so i left as is.

Just went for a long drive, lots of lane changing, it worked a treat!
