    Quick AA3 mods/fixes.

1: Bike Frame bag under the Tea tray for misc tools, Registration/Insurance, and cable for lock.
2:To the left, notice a "kryptonite" modulus bike lock.. mounts to frame... take cable and wrap thru helmet/wheel and then thru frame and back into the lock that stays completely invisible from sight.

3: Relocated the "immobilizer" ring to inside the cluster housing... this way instead of reaching up and around you can put thigh w/ key in pocket up to cluster.. or just hold in front of cluster from outside car to start.. reaching around from outside car was troublesome, and getting into pocket to pull out once inside car, again.. hassle.

4: Sector111 Dead Pedal, drill one hole and rivet first... then do the other 3... i learned the hard way.. but once installed this dead pedal is god sent... makes adjusting your butt in the seat much easier!

5: Autobahn Mirror "blind spot" mirror... i'm used to having no rear view center mirror from exige and would adjust driver mirror to see behind, and passenger mirror to see behind on that side.. this leaves a huge blind spot passenger side "behind" the intake.. this mirror when adjusted properly... only views that area so it's a quick "yes/no" mirror... anything in mirror=car beside you... if mirror is empty then good to change lanes... a very quick look instead of analyzing where said car might or might not be

#6 would be the "auto cancel turn signal" which i have coming soon and will install and post photo's... thank you to Clay Cowgill <clay@embeddedengineeringllc.com> for the Auto Cancel Signals..

Where did you get the blind spot mirror? I installed a rear view camera partially for that reason, but would like to have that mirror as well...

Great write up. I spent a few hours last weekend experimenting with various snowmobile bags up under the dash but I like your solution so far the best.

I was just about to order the sector 111 dead petal but found myself wondering if it is the same as the factory now offers. I am having the supercharger installed at TMI in a few weeks and thought I would ask if they could add the dead petal at the same time.

factory setup i think bolts on using the tub bolts if it's the same one i saw when i was there... much easier.

as far as the bike frame bag, they make them in about every size imagineable and the nicer ones have better/more velcro straps... mine is $7 off amazon, and i would go to a larger one probably but havent had time to check sizes... inside i have a toolkit from a lotus... with 7 diff tools.. swiss army knife and a bunch of zip ties.. for just incase stuff... registration and insurance in there.. seat 8mm allen, a pen, my 1/2" cable for the lock setup, and some bandaids. lol. a bad with a couple more pockets would be nice.. put the bulky stuff in one area and the paperwork and pen somewhere else..

    Autobahn Mirror history

Hello fellow AA owners. Its been awhile since I have been on the forums. I sell the Amazing Autobahn Mirror. Since the very first Ariel Atom was reverse engineered back in the Brammo days , I have had the honor of supplying many Atom owners with our blindspot mirrors starting with Jay Lenos, which was the first U.S "prototype" Atom. After much positive feedback from the magazine test drivers that wrote articles on the AA, they all commented how useful the Autobahn Mirror was for the Atom. Brammo then made our product OEM starting for all built vehicles. I placed one of the first orders for this unique sports car , to bring to the 2006 SEMA show.
I purchased the first 300HP atom mfg. by Brammo for the street use. #007 , After speaking with Leno , I changed the powerplant to GM. Its been a fantastic car ever since.
The SEMA show was a huge success with Jay and my car being the only Atoms there. Just prior to the SEMA show , Top Gear flew out to the U.S and filmed a show and needed an Ariel. Our vehicle was asked to be used for the show, ( The good the bad the ugly). The Stig broke the track record with the car (Buttonwillows). We had the bottom of the bonnet autographed.

from the day I picked up the AA from the factory and 7 years later, The Amazing Autobahn Mirror has been a very important part of this vehicle. Anyone who drives this car will benefit from its use. The blind spots produced by the Air Intake and the way the 5 point race belts strap the driver to the seat , just do't allow the head of the driver to see whats to the right and Left side just beyond the drivers vision. Now add a race helmet and its worst. I have found the mounting the Autobahn Mirror on the top bar just next to the sideview mirror , gives and complete clean view!
The idea of the design of the Autobahn mirror is from Jet Fighter Aircraft that are use similar mirrors in the cockpits of today's military around the world. It will identify what is in the pilots, (drivers) 9 O'clock and 3 O'clock position. These work on all type of vehicles and cycles.

I invite all the AA owners to try this unique , German designed Mirror. Home when you order please tell us this is for an Ariel Atom in the note section.
