From late Oct through March, the car is basically parked anyway because of weather. And for me, I didn't set out to challenge mother nature on the trip.. it was a trip, I had to get from point A to point B. I didn't have enough vacation time to be messing around with 3 or 4 hour days, or sightseeing... I needed to be making time. And.. as the trip was in Oct (Atomfest 1) I know the weather would only be getting worse, so you just push... cause you really have no choice.
