That does look to be quite a mix of cars! How did Eddie like his Beast Ecotec?
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

Eddie said the Ecotec Atom was back together but he didn't have that one at the EC event. I guess that there's an issue with the IAT2 temps with the Harrop charger. He's going to go with a bigger pulley and tweak some Meth injection stuff to see if that helps.

Otherwise here's someone's Photo album of the Eagles Canyon event:

    bump for 2013

Once again I'm looking to get more out of a texas road trip than BBQ. I edited the first post, but basically I'm looking to meet up with some texas atom owners and possibly do one or more track days this december. Any interest?

Weather permitting, I'd love to get some December track time in at Eagles Canyon and/or Hallett.

I'd be up for something possibly.

I prefer MSR Cresson but might do EC. The F1 track would be cool, but it's $2500 a day for each person.

Ya, I think $2500 is out of my price range. Maybe it will come down as the novelty wears off. I really liked MSR but it's mostly by invitation only. Are you a member or do you know some members that would be willing to host a few atoms? There is a drivers edge event there on Dec 14-15, that might be an option. EC has a toy run on the 7th and a regular track day on the 14th. Hallett doesn't seem to have anything in december. I've never been to texas world; I wonder if the porche club would allow some atoms at their event on the 7th?

There is also the idea of a drive through the hill country. I know a few good roads to try if that interests anyone.

I'd call them and see what dates are open. When I rented the track (the day before AtomFest II), there was a limit of 5 cars before extra fees apply (for added insurance [for them], fire / EMS, etc.).

But they're very friendly and I'd recommend them, if they're within a workable distance for everyone.
