    Your dream track.

We have all probably a dream track somewhere in the world. What courses would you most like to drive on with your car.

    Here are my top five.

    1. Nurburgring Nordschleife. GER (Done)
    2. Laguna seca U.S.
    3. Suzuka JPN
    4. Spa Francorchamps BEL
    5. Valencia street race track (F1) ESP

I mostly agree with that, Spa and Suzuka would be my favorite F1 tracks but I'd have to add Monaco in there too! Valencia... hmmm would have to think about that.

I've driven Laguna Seca many times and I'm driving Sears Point (officially "Sonoma Raceway") for the first time tomorrow which is supposed to be one of the better more challenging tracks here. Laguna is a fun track and of course the Corkscrew is what makes it famous (just aim for the tree.) I need to save some cash and make the trip to Germany some day soon. Will let you know if I prefer Laguna over Sonoma after this weekend!

I'm beginning to prefer Sonoma here of late. The carousal, when done correctly is a blast. Particularly when taken as fast as you can hang on. People say lots of walls but that hasn't seem to hinder my preference.

    Yet to do.
I don't know if they do it but I'd like to do Indianapolis, just because.
    Watkins Glen
    Mid Ohio
    Nurburgring
    Austin
There was a supercar race a while back in Australia that looked like fun.

    Done, somewhat in preference order.
    Infineon
    Laguna Seca
    Thunderhill
    Chuckwalla
    Spring Mountain
    Willow Springs
    Fontana
    Reno-Fearnley NV
    Salt Lake UT
    Hallatt OK
    Houston MSR TX
    Eagles Canyon TX
    TX Worlds Speedway TX
    Buttonwillow CA

My favorite track is Watkins Glen. It is a must do. Limerock is another. Mosport is amazing...recently renovated. Mont Tremblant...mmm!! If they ever open it to "outsiders" again,Monticello in NY. I'd love to do Road Atlanta..Road America...Infineon...Miller...VIR. So many tracks..and so little time!

^Good outfit. Wish I could join you,but I'm scheduled for Limerock that weekend. (May 16th-18th)You will have a blast! That is a good time to be there as the Junebugs won't be out yet. WG is my favorite track.. Careful with turns 6 and 9.

Don't think I can make that one, can by time but it's another 250 miles more east. And I'm pretty extended distance as it is.

Hey it's a Mon/Tues and it's a half day drive on Sunday.. slacker..

Three days at Limerock...probably 250 track miles a day..I'll need a week just to rest up and repair! Hey,I'm getting old.. If you're in my neighborhood, stop by. I can offer you a safe place to park your rig and indoor plumbing. Too bad you can't squeeze a VIR event into your schedule..I'm itching to go there and need only an excuse to go...
