Hi everyone, I'm Wes, and I live in San Antonio.

I found the aerial chat forum looking for more information in buying an Atom and adding it to my garage.

I have a couple of Italian cars and I have lusted after an Atom for a few years now, but never could find the one I wanted.

Hopefully I can fix that problem soon.

Hey man, how ya doing? I appreciate the offer, I've been jones'n for an Atom for sometime, even looked at that one you bought. If you see any deals let me know. I really am stuck on the Honda motor car, all black, no wings and lots of carbon.

I also like the removable rollbar too as I think it looks classic and cleaner. Just want it for the street and to cruise around with on nice cool days. So basically in SA, that's 2 months a year.

I went back and forth on the ecotec vs honda platform and I think there are pros and cons to each. I like the torque of the ecotec and with the Harrop setup it seems to be a good overall setup. I like the honda for the obvious reliablity and the 6 sp trans is likely a step up. I don't think you can go wrong with either setup. I hardly ever make it to SA but would love to get together.

Ben, my eco has a six speed and I like it for the gearing, the torque of the eco does not make it a necessity though. The eco is rock solid also. I hated first gear in the eco and I hated finding fifth. The Quaife gear kit give much better lower gear selection and the mechanic that did the conversion added a detent so that fifth and sixth are no issue at the track.

So, ... we now have two 40's on the forum?

Cool, I like those wheels he has. Mine is a '91 as well, fun car to drive. Sure would like to have an Atom in the garage as well. I'm not greedy, an old one would make me happen.
