    San Diego, Ca...just ordered a AA3 K24

Hi my name is Darren and I'm in San Diego, Ca. I ordered an AA from Sector a few months ago, and I'm waiting on delivery. I'll look for the chassis number and post it soon. If anybody has any info on the build and delivery time/process, I would love to hear about it.

Back in the beginning of Atoms being built in the US, the wait was a lot longer. I ordered on July 22, 2005 and picked up my Atom on August 2nd, 2006. That was one of the first cars built in the US by Brammo, and the wait was excruciating. There were a lot of us who'd ordered around the same time and we talked about our builds incessantly.

Terry, I seem to be reliving that leadtime with my new car... it's to be expected, but still makes you question yourself every once in a while, wouldn't you agree?

I was so happy when Craig called and asked if I wanted to skip ahead in the build only after 3 months of waiting after someone bailed on their car with only a week before completion. Sure it had $20,000 more CF on it than what I originally ordered.

20K in CF, ... in the later builds it seems like that would only be a couple of fenders and a tub

who in the world would put 20k in carbon on a car? especially one that weighs 1350lbs... people are insane... take a shit before you drive and save 20k.
